Max was putting in the "bigger" assets and ran into an issue... the level is too long.. and flash doesnt wanna let him finish the level... I dont know flash that well so I dont understand what is going on here. But Max and Lance cant do their milestones until that is fixed.
The entire "new level" issue that we are running into by sizing up the assets is going to be put on hold because we cant test the new level.

Paul, can you upload this version of the game? I have a thought I like to try with the Tribal Vision game I coded a while back. I want to see if the the level will work in it. I have a hunch that there is something in the code that is causing it to not continue through. Or it could be a matter of the collision boxes inside the level. Lance had a problem where he would fall through the ground first thing and it was because he did not move the collision boxes. Try checking the collision boxes first. If it still does not work, upload it and I will take a look at it.
ReplyDeleteWow sorry Jacob. I wish you good luck in trying to fix that problem.
ReplyDeleteI talked to Paul yesterday night again... He tells me he won't even get a chance to look at it until Monday, which will severely put the level design team behind milestone wise! We can't do a thing until this issue is fixed!!!
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have this version of the prototype then? Max, do you have the level that is causing the issue at all? I have an old game that i can put the level in to to test it.
ReplyDeleteUse the link I provided in my most recent post for all the assets.. The level is kinda gutted and it contains just the assets. You should see right away if you open it that we have no more space to use!
ReplyDeleteWell I think that we had a similar issue last week. I recall Paul moving this little dot thing further to allow the camera to scroll further than what was being allowed. So try moving that random dot (I don't remember what layer it was on other than Scene 1).
